What makes this glass bead necklace so special?
Outside it’s grey, the light is dull, and the day drags on. That’s exactly when I’d reach for this necklace.
The glowing shades of orange, pink and berry feel like a small fire – warm, vibrant, and full of quiet energy.
How does the glass get its sparkle?
The shimmer comes from dichroic glass, which I’ve encased in layers of clear glass.
It creates depth – as if I had captured sunlight itself. Depending on the light, the sparkle shifts from soft to intense.
I’ve connected the glass beads firmly and securely, hand-flared with a silver tube and cap, so they stay fixed in place and don’t move against each other.
The necklace has no clasp – it simply slips over your head and feels light, easy, and free to wear.
What materials are used in this piece?
The beads are made from dichroic glass, overlaid with clear glass for a deep, luminous effect.
A small berry-red glass bead finishes the pendant and ties the colors together.
The long sterling silver chain carries the pendant securely – a touch of summer warmth, even in November.
