PDF Tutorial – Torch-Fired Enamel with Glass Details
In this digital tutorial, I teach a special technique I developed over many years: torch-fired enamel combined with molten glass decoration. This method creates surfaces you can’t achieve with traditional kiln enamel – layered, vibrant, textural and full of depth.
The tutorial is designed for jewelry makers and bead makers who already work with a dual-fuel torch and want to expand their surface and color possibilities. No enameling kiln required – the entire process happens at the torch.
Why this tutorial is unique:
- original torch-fired enamel technique developed through years of experimentation
- combines enamel and glass in one single torch process
- step-by-step instructions with photos, materials list & temperature guidance
- suitable for beads, tubes, pendants, discs and experimental art pieces

I created this tutorial because, when I started working with enamel and glass, there was no one teaching this kind of hybrid torch technique. I had to figure it out the long way – through trial, error, burned enamel, cracked beads, and a lot of studio hours.
If I can share this now, it’s so you can skip that part and get to the moment that really matters: watching the surface react in the flame and realising, “Okay, now I’m creating something nobody else is making.”
If you run into questions while trying the technique: feel free to message me. I’m happy to help.
