Handmade Glass Bead Necklaces – Colorful Lampwork Jewelry
Glass bead necklaces are a central part of my studio work. Here you will find handmade necklaces composed of individually formed glass beads with consciously guided color composition. The colors are not combined randomly but deliberately coordinated so that they support each other and create a clear visual effect.
Each necklace is a one-of-a-kind piece of glass jewelry. The designs are clearly composed, wearable and suitable for everyday life.
I mainly work with glass from Murano as well as selected glasses from Germany, the Czech Republic and the United States. Every bead is shaped in the flame using traditional lampwork techniques and further refined by hand. This results in glass bead necklaces with substance, precise color composition and visible craftsmanship.
Material, Technique and Everyday Wear
The necklaces are strung on durable stainless steel wire. Glass is more resilient than many people assume. What it does not tolerate well is a fall onto a hard floor. If a necklace ever needs to be restrung or repaired after years of wear, I will gladly take care of it.
Depending on the design, I combine the glass beads with silver or gold-plated silver for a refined look. In other pieces I deliberately use stainless steel - durable and skin-friendly.

Handwork Instead of Mass Production
Real jewelry begins where handwork remains visible. Every bead is shaped at the torch in my studio, one at a time, without molds or repetition. That is why each necklace exists only once. These are not factory-made accessories but handmade pieces with their own rhythm and variation.
Materials
I work mainly with Murano glass because of its wide and expressive color range. Alongside it, I use selected glass rods from Germany, the Czech Republic and the United States. Findings are sterling silver or anti-allergic stainless steel, and my enamel elements are made from copper and finely ground glass.
This combination results in durable handmade jewelry with clear craftsmanship and a distinct artistic signature.
